I have the greatest honor of participating in StoryBundle, which is in the similar vein as the Humble Bundle. Firebrand is among the seven books featured in this great sci-fi/fantasy-themed bundle. What’s also great about all these books is that they were written during National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). As you may or may not know, I am a strong advocate for NaNoWriMo, as it’s a great program for any aspiring writer to delve into if they want to challenge themselves.
I love these “Bundle” programs, because they support many great non-profit organizations, and you can help, too! I strongly believe in giving back to the community, because I’ve learned so much in my writing career from communities of other writers, and non-profit organizations like NaNoWriMo.
Storybundle is known as “Books with Benefits” for several reasons:
– All books are DRM-free. DRM sucks, and everyone (including good, honest customers) hates them.
– You choose how much you want to pay for these books. You decide how much of your purchase goes to the author and how much goes to help keep StoryBundle running. If your purchase price beats $10, you get TWO bonus books.
– You can support nonprofits by choosing to give a portion of the proceeds from each bundle to charity. For this bundle, the nonprofits featured are: Girls Write Now, MightyWriters and The Challenger Center.
These books are available in both Kindle and EPUB format, and are compatible with all modern e-readers.
